It wont make showdown easier because you still have to get 2 extra base hits and a home run with some really weak cards. I had 3 different rounds where it was 3 pitchers and one position player. In a mode that is more offense driven you need to atleast have 2 cards.
And what is they have 2 extra base hits and a home run while facing oswalt with 1 diamond and a bunch of silvers with no power and you have to play the length of a conquest game. How is that quicker then a moment was last year.

They probably shrank the timing window of what determines late/good/perfect/early. I’ll check today when I play a few ranked games.
I saw a ton less perfect on 2 showdowns this morning, which really is game breaking because good squared up is just as bad as last year and good/good is worthless this year.
