I played for four+ hours tonight and earned a grand total of 22K in XP!
It would've been higher, but at least 60-75% of what the after game screen stated that I earned mysteriously disappeared. Along with 4-5 games worth if stats.
But yet we got 100s, if not 1000s, of people either farming XP by sitting in an Exhibition mode for DAYS. and not exiting until the new Inning drops.
Or we have people abusing a glitch where you can heard 10s of thousands worth of XP per game just buy linking your consoles to the game.
It's all over YouTube and there's even people on this board stating that they did it.
Yet SDS probably won't do anything about it, or if they do, it will be to late.
There were people selling the 2nd Inning bosses an hour AFTER the program dropped. And someone in here said that they made it to 650K just by playing a few ranked games.
Which all are probably against SDS's TOS.
Yet, I'm sitting here busting my @$$ for 20K in XP.
It ridiculous and I dont even know if I want to bother playing anymore.
Don't get me started in the time limits for the Inning Programs either. By the time I go back to work next month, and am putting in 70-80 hours of work; I'll be lucky if I have 4-5 hours a week that I can play. So I doubt I'll get even close to 350K in the upcoming Inning Programs. That is unless I go out and buy an XBox and boost like everyone else!
I know I complain alot; but this is something that needs to be rectified. And not with a 'Thank You' bundle.
This game has potential; but unless SDS can get their collective heads out if their ...... and start patching stuff/banning people who blatantly chest, this franchise is going to end up being a pile of excrement.

Either accept it, ignore it, or move on to a game that provides better enjoyment. New DLC for Valhalla will be out soon, supposedly new GoW will be out by the end of the year, and of course dozens of other titles dropping soon as well. Only way companies take this serious is when profits start to falter. Don’t see that happening soon, so I’ll just accept it and control what I can control.

Mine seems to be accumulating normally. Earned about 60K tonight, 25k coming from conquest map. So I dont care about the guys getting tons real fast. Just glad mine isnt accumulating fast because that would suck for the rest of the Month. But if it isnt accumulating the way it should, to slow, that would suck too.

It doesn't sound like your xp is counting correctly. That seems awfully low.
I have played maybe 6 games online via events and only a few vs cpu games. Not a single xp glitched used. I have put a [censored] ton of time in RTTS though. I was done with 1st inning a week or more before the deadline.I made [censored] near all my XP from RTSS, Conquest, Collections, basically everything available but online vs and cpu vs.

Changing your sliders will effect xp gain. If you moved slider in any way put them on default til game is completely patched.

Mine seems to be collecting right last night but I'll admit I don't pay a huge amount of attention to the number.
I know I had some stat tracking issue for 1 game last night
But I was mashing in the event so I was just happy picking up wins

I will admit I hate those exploits however it what these game will be about. SDS could respond and fix the issue and a week later there will be 50 YT videos out of the next exploit that's what YT do.
I have learned to just play the game and take advantage of the side effects of these antics. Just looking at the boss cards they are already below 100k in some cases with 25+ days left in the program. The bosses will be super cheap to scoop up and I'll have my nice xp boost for the 3rd inning and 15k or more stubs. This goes for any player reward in the program.
It sucks when this stuff happens but it happens in all the UT games NHL has had these kinda things for years as well. Just have to find the small things that help me in the game that comenof these

I grinded through conquest, and then played event games with prospects, rookie, and breakout series players to get the 21 runs and some online wins
I’m just over 100k from doing conquest, winning 7 event games, getting those 21 runs, and knocking out some dailies and that was just day 1...
You have to know how to spend your time and what to focus on. 350k is very easy to hit over a 20something day span

I really don’t feel mine is counting right. I played a good bit last nights between topps now moments and conquest (didn’t bear the map) and only have about 35k in 5 hours.
Is double xp still turned on because either way it seems like the xp path is a real slow grind. I know they’ll add collections but just playing seems to really not progress you as much as it should.
To the other point with people using exploits, it impacts everyone else. It’s why you can’t bank xp if you max and why SDs will possibly adjust xp goals up,

I Am so sick of this asinine argument. I play cities skylines and if progress didn’t track correctly and I couldn’t build interstates would you tell me “just pay the game!”
This game is built around xp progression. They had to dump a ton of xp at the end of the first inning due to tabulation errors and server issues.
Stop telling people they shouldn’t be annoyed if the game is not giving them full progress. SDS did an amazing job making the issues in the first inning right, and seemed to have fixed the servers...how’ve when some people are getting 100xp a game and others are getting 10k and only counting as 5k that’s a huge problem.

It is really unfortunate, but I mean that can't be fun for them. If they wanna spend their time doing that more power to them. So what if they get a boss before anyone else honestly imo. Also, I may be in the minority, but I don't think Iv'e ever gotten screwed out of XP (besides servers going down mid game) that I have noticed.

Yet, I'm sitting here busting my @$$ for 20K in XP.
It ridiculous and I dont even know if I want to bother playing anymore.
Don't get me started in the time limits for the Inning Programs either. By the time I go back to work next month, and am putting in 70-80 hours of work; I'll be lucky if I have 4-5 hours a week that I can play. So I doubt I'll get even close to 350K in the upcoming Inning Programs. That is unless I go out and buy an XBox and boost like everyone else!
I know I complain alot; but this is something that needs to be rectified. And not with a 'Thank You' bundle.
This game has potential; but unless SDS can get their collective heads out if their ...... and start patching stuff/banning people who blatantly chest, this franchise is going to end up being a pile of excrement.
Maybe I can get someone to 'take over my account and just walk away from this $hi1$h0w.

I Am so sick of this asinine argument. I play cities skylines and if progress didn’t track correctly and I couldn’t build interstates would you tell me “just pay the game!”
This game is built around xp progression. They had to dump a ton of xp at the end of the first inning due to tabulation errors and server issues.
Stop telling people they shouldn’t be annoyed if the game is not giving them full progress. SDS did an amazing job making the issues in the first inning right, and seemed to have fixed the servers...how’ve when some people are getting 100xp a game and others are getting 10k and only counting as 5k that’s a huge problem.

lmao okay soft serve. You asked for xp drops, they gave an xp drop, you asked to be compensated, you got compensated. Now because other people are getting xp faster than you its not fair and it should be equal, lol have you ever played Warzone, a couple games there and you'll understand whats fair and not fair..

Seeing the same thing here. Played Mto to gain some more team affinity points and want to get up to that Riley card for my all time braves team.
Did 2 mto's start to finish and none of the XP applied. Starting happening around 8pm EST last night I think. Did an mto earlier in the day and that XP did go towards the 2nd inning. After 8 last night no xp gained outside of DD added to my total.

Of course it's fun for them. It's called winning the game, and that's why they're cheating to do it. If the game allows the cheat then of course some people are going to take advantage, and the fun for them is in the winning, not in the playing. Human psychology. 'The Inner Game of Tennis' is a good read to see how psychologies play into competition. Some people want to look good playing, some people love to play, and others play to win (no matter how it looks).
