Nolan Ryan, with J.R. Richard a close second.
-
Aaron Sanchez. All Star in 2016 and CY Young candidate but fell off due to injuries now he is making a comeback with the Giants and is doing well.

No I know. But he's doing well with very different stuff.. when he was successful as a Jay, he'd overpower guys with a heavy sinker up in the 95-97mph range. Now that sinker is averaging 90mph.. yet he's still getting results..

From 2017-2019 with the Jays he always either injured or dealing with command issues while playing. He keeps the ball on the ground.

Exactly. Giants have guys in the rotation that you would not think of as being great pitchers but there rotation is the biggest reason that they have a 18-13 record right now.

100%. Gausman is underrated. My Jays wanted him badly this offseason but he took the QO...

I'm a Canadian so my favorite team is the Jays too. Ray is looking good but Matz has had a couple bad starts recently. Need to acquire pitching at the deadline.
-
Steve Matz playoffs during the WS run was awesome!
-
Pitchers I have seen play. Orel Hershiser, Fernando, Nomo, Ramon Martinez (Pedro Older Brother) Don Sutton, Kershaw, Gagne. Outside of the Dodgers who have rich History of good to great pitchers, Roy Halladay, Jack Morris, Mike Mussina, Greg, Maddux, These three were fun to watch. Barry Zito, Mark Moulder, and Tim hudson. Doc Gooden, David Cone, Mike Scott.

The best starting pitcher of all time? Could be your favorite player, card... what ever. Biases are welcomed. Maybe it’s some one current or a childhood favorite.
Would be Nolan Ryan and greg Maddox for me
-
I think the greatest in my lifetime was probably prime Randy Johnson. My favorite pitcher would be Mike Mussina.
