    Default position players

Why do you think that is? It’s strange that they are pushing you to be a two way player in rtts, but you actually have a two way player in Diamond dynasty that can’t be used as such.

Because SDS thinks that if you play out of your primary position you lose all ability to throw and field a baseball. It's a miracle some secondary players can remember to breathe.

No he has his normal pitches, including splitter. Doesn't have pitching quirks and it looks like he doesn't get parallel XP for pitching.

He does? What are his attributes like? Can’t see them on his card

I didn't look but he was pitching fine for me, I think his pitching attributes are the same as his other card, just no pitching quirks or parallel XP.

I just can’t wrap my head around this. It even says he threw 101mph right on the front of the card!! I didn’t watch that game but maybe the reason is he started in LF and came on in relief? I don’t even know if he did just wonder myself because I really wish it was a SP.

I PH him for the pitcher, and the game wouldnt allow him to stay in to pitch. I kept trying to exit, but it made me sub in a pitcher for a "position player".

Yeah I tried it again and it wouldn't let me back out either this time, maybe it was a bug they fixed?

I would say that the bug is that he cant stay in to pitch. Hes a pitcher ffs.

How do we use either the live SP Ohtani or the POTM LF Ohtani as a two-way player in ranked seasons? Has anybody figured out a way? I tried pinch hitting him for the pitcher, they made me replace him with an “actual pitcher”. I tried switching his and the current pitcher’s positions in substitutions: “cannot sub for pitcher”. And when he’s in the starting rotation you aren’t allowed to use him as either a pinch hitter or defensive replacement, for no reason. So the only way to do it so far has been to start him on the mound every fifth game and have him hit, although you can’t move him to the field when you bring in a new pitcher. Any thoughts?

He only played LF for 1 inning this year against the Astros in Houston. Was a blow out. Backup catcher was playing LF, but they brought him in to pitch in the 9th. They had used all their bench guys, so they plugged him in left field for an inning. He didn’t pitch that game at all
