Timmy 2nd Inning Boss?
-
Either 16 & 17 or 17 & 18 had back to back years of a 99 Tim Lincecum in the game. I think when players retire it takes 5 years before they can get their rights back.......could be wrong on that but he was in the game.

So, it can be assumed that one of the three bosses for the second inning program is going to be a starting pitcher. My question is, what is the likelihood that we might see a Tim Lincecum card as one of the boss cards? If not now, maybe later down the line?
While his career in the major leagues was relatively short, he did some amazing things in that time like racking up 1,736 Ks, making 4 All-Star appearances, winning 3 World Series, being awarded back to back Cy Young awards, and being the NL strikeout leader for 3 years in a row. His record was 110-89, but a large handful of those losses are due to poor run support from offense. Anyway, I would love to see a 2009 or 2010 Lincecum card in an inning program. What are your thoughts?
Edit. Nevermind. Brain fart.

It's not necessarily 5 years, although that is the general rule of thumb. Rollins was 3 years and he was probably the earliest one, his last game was 17. As was lincecum. So he is a legitimate possibility

There is a new legend in the inning program, so Timmy is on the table, but so is anyone else
If its not Ed Sprague, we riot
-
Jake Peavy would be sweet.

My dream (and I hate the Cubs, I'm a Brewers fan) but I would love a Big Z Carlos Zambrano card.

Moose would be cool cuz of his windup thing, and nasty knucklecurve

Lincecum's last card in The Show was absolutely filthy. Would love to see another one.
-
Hoping for Mulder or Zito.
Also, this game just isn’t the same without Ichiro. I know it’s too soon, but I would really live to see him back in my OF.

I think considering the beating he got in Dazed and Confused it is remarkable what he accomplished in his brief career. That being said I have a feeling boss pitcher will be Steve Avery.
