This isn't really an RTTS issue - more like an observation of a gameplay glitch or two.
Had a situation happen about a week ago - was playing an RTTS toon at 1B. Guy hits a pop-up between me and the 2B, closer to the 2B. The 2B gets into position but I'm trying to get there also (ball [censored]). The game kinda glitches and I can't move. But now the 2B thinks I'm going to field it. He stops trying. The ball literally bounces off the top of his head - hit him so hard he should have gone into concussion protocol. I just laughed and shrugged it off. Literally made me laugh out loud.
Flash forward to today, playing another RTTS toon in RF. A short fly i[censored] - basically a dying quail, the 2B is chasing it from the infield, I'm trying to close on it from RF. The ball lands right in between us, but somehow I miss it and run by - passing the 2B. He stops. The ball slowly rolls towards the warning track, but isn't hit hard enough to get there. Eventually the ball just kinda stops rolling about 40 feet from us. I'm locked up - can't move. Can't go run down the ball. The 2B is just looking at me like "are you going to get it??" Meanwhile, the batter collects the weakest inside-the-park "dinger" ever.
