Moments oversight?

I’m wondering if this is by design or oversight?
Was working in Paul Dejong top now. Must get 8 total bases.Bases touched due to error do not count
Walks do not count.
Taking an extra base on an errant throw doesn’t count either.I thought a touched base was just that. A touched base. Isn’t this how the MLB scores it officially? If I draw a walk and then proceed to steal two bases ... I’ve touched 3. Just curious if I’m wrong in my line of thinking or not. This also comes into play during showdowns were advanced runners touched bases do not count either. Thoughts?

Sorry in the show all of what you stated does not count. Now some moments say ‘get on base’. Those a walk and HPB counts but total bases have to be hits.

Total bases are acquired as a result of base hits. 1B=1 2B= 2 etc. nothing else counts except hits.

No, that is not how TB are scored in MLB. The game is tallying them properly.

Fair enough , shouldn’t the game not intentionally walk a batter when presented in this particular challenge ? That’s essentially the game turning the challenge impossible

No, that is not how TB are scored in MLB. The game is tallying them properly.
It literally says on the MLB website total bases are strictly hits. The moment is counting them correctly. Walks, steals and advancing a runner does not apply.
