Why is my created player a different position in dd?

My rtts player is at third base but in my dd squad he's a left fielder with no secondary position? Is this a bug or did I mess something up? I only ever made my third base player and a pitcher in rtts so idk if the game is using my pitcher for some reason.

Anyone know the answer to this? I'm having the exact same problem now... trying to insert my 2B RTTS player into DD but he's only showing up as a left fielder.

The big archetype icon you're using has certain positions available for it. You can see what they are in the profile if you switch your archetype

It's weird how they have done this so far this year. It's connected to your RTTS player in a way but not overall. The archetype is what your position goes by. When you equip it, it tells you your primary and secondaries but you can't choose your position. In road to the Show, you can choose your position.
I have no idea why they have done it this way. You should be able to choose your position, whatever one that might be and have that as your main and all others as secondary positions.
