The cutter

I wanna know how you see the cutter/slider coming in to a lefty, from a righty? What do you guys look for? It’s been fooling me for almost two years. There’s gotta be a way to see it!

The one id like to stop swinging at is the righty on righty slider/cutter down and away that is in the zone on outside part when i start the swing, but is 4 inches into the other batters box when my bat gets there.

A cutter is a FB. That makes it tough to adjust too. You have to recognize very fast that it will break in on you.

Watch for the players tendencies. Make him throw pitches, just don't swing at everything. If you strike out a couple of times looking, that's okay. Making him pay when you have figured out what he's going to throw.
