You guys that are holding R2 the entire time your opponent is trying to pitch are really a special kind of bad person.
Maybe learn how to win a game without cheating? You might find it actually feels good.
I hold it every time and will continue to do so. I am not going to let you quick pitch me. If you want to get rid of holding R2, I would be perfectly fine with a 5 sec timer in between pitches. Until that happens, you should try and understand why people do it.
Hi Sean, hope you're having a great weekend.
I absolutely pitch quickly, I don't need to stare at my screen with bifocals to accurately use the input system of my choice. I also don't want to take an hour playing a RS game. I have many other things I have to do with my life, and while I'm sure Sean 87 is a great guy, I'm not interested in being stuck with you longer than I have to.
Stop holding down L2, you don't suddenly increase PCI placement accuracy by waiting between pitches.

You will not be quick pitching against me, that’s for sure. People have different preferences. If you don’t want a timer in between pitches, then R2 is the best way to make both sides happy.

keep quick pitching expect to see R2 as a counter

People that spam r2 are very annoying, but its a useful feature that I use a few times an inning, either to check what pitches your pitcher throws, or to look at pitch location in longer at bats. You only need to hit it for a second though, not hold it.
You use it the way its intended. I dont even quick pitch but when a guy is holding R2 every pitch for the max time thats a [censored] move. When you play people like that, games take twice as long

Some people do it regardless if youre quick pitching or not. its a bad mechanic

If you do it from the first pitch before even seeing how I'm gonna pitch then you are the one being annoying. If someone is quick pitching just spamming the pitches to start the game then I don't blame you for trying to slow them down at that point. That's the only point I'm trying to make, don't assume from the start I'm going to quick pitch and hold r2 the max amount of time.

I disagree. I do it from beginning to end, every pitch. I don’t give my opponent the opportunity to quick pitch me. Once again, I’d be fine with a 5 second timer in between pitches if you want to remove R2 holding.

Sean, do you get invited to a lot of parties? You don't seem like you'd be someone folks would invite often.

If you are doing it from first pitch then you are a child, the end. -
Does it run down the timer? If it doesn’t, maybe it should for a reasonable compromise to keep both camps happy.

Do you usually try to degrade and insult people that don’t agree with you?

LMAO not this again. Is this all you say instead of defending your side? you're a big boy, you've got words.

I always find it amusing the way people talk differently than face to face.

Countering quick pitching is one thing. Intentionally holding R2 for as long as possible, even after the pitcher steps off once, is an exploit to mess with your opponent’s pitching. It’s a pretty cheap tactic which unfortunately has no counter.

It doesn’t mess with your timing, just wait.

This might be one of the dumbest responses ive ever seen. "just wait"? of course it messes with timing and you can do it over and over with no consequences. its an exploit, bottom line
