Stop quick pitching or trying to pitch an inning in 2 minutes...
-
That is really annoying. You can't even step off after that anymore i guess? Or atleast i can't. Super annoying.

You guys that are holding R2 the entire time your opponent is trying to pitch are really a special kind of bad person.
Maybe learn how to win a game without cheating? You might find it actually feels good.
It's not cheating, but it certainly is annoying. It's a feature that is abused, but is actually really useful when using 4 or 5 times a game.

Some people have both systems

People that spam r2 are very annoying, but its a useful feature that I use a few times an inning, either to check what pitches your pitcher throws, or to look at pitch location in longer at bats. You only need to hit it for a second though, not hold it.
-
I dont spam it but I do use it at the beginning of every at bat on the 2nd/3rd time through the lineup to see the last pitch sequence the batter saw. I also like the fact they added the ability to see when your opponent is holding r2.

Exactly!
If I try to step off and cannot, there is a problem.
Absolutely no reason to be looking at R2 that long. -

I hold it every time and will continue to do so. I am not going to let you quick pitch me. If you want to get rid of holding R2, I would be perfectly fine with a 5 sec timer in between pitches. Until that happens, you should try and understand why people do it.

SDS should put balls back in the game. The only time I hold R2 (as opposed to quickly pressing it) is when people are trying to throw a pitch every 10 seconds. Holding R2 in that case is just battling someone doing effectively the opposite extreme.

5 second timer between pitches seems a bit excessive. Also not everyone wants to sit there and take over an hour for a game so try to understand why people try not to take long between pitches? You can't ask people to try and understand your side without extending the same courtesy

Then live with R2 holding. I’m not going to let someone throw 10 pitches in 3 seconds like it’s a machine gun. If you don’t want a timer, R2 is the best way to make both sides happy.

Hi Sean, hope you're having a great weekend.
I absolutely pitch quickly, I don't need to stare at my screen with bifocals to accurately use the input system of my choice. I also don't want to take an hour playing a RS game. I have many other things I have to do with my life, and while I'm sure Sean 87 is a great guy, I'm not interested in being stuck with you longer than I have to.
Stop holding down L2, you don't suddenly increase PCI placement accuracy by waiting between pitches.

You will not be quick pitching against me, that’s for sure. People have different preferences. If you don’t want a timer in between pitches, then R2 is the best way to make both sides happy.

keep quick pitching expect to see R2 as a counter

You use it the way its intended. I dont even quick pitch but when a guy is holding R2 every pitch for the max time thats a [censored] move. When you play people like that, games take twice as long
