I am getting sick of finishing a grind and BOOM the grind isn't recorded because of the stupid server. I have PS to play the game, don't really see why I have to always be connected. There has to be a way to play and upload the stuff after the fact. Seems that is where the problem is, always having to be connected.

The sense of humor on the new Topps Now moments is outstanding. SDS obviously reads the complaints about losing progress, and how bad the servers have been. So creating a difficult moment that takes about an hour to complete, knowing that their servers wouldn't last that long so in the chance that you beat the moment, it won't count -- is straight up hilarious. No sarcasm

I’ve been working on my fielding speed SS for awhile now and every time I make progress in the steals part the servers crash. I am sorry guys this is my fault as I just had a 2 steal game.

And all the video game outlets and companies are trying to push an all digital/always connected future. I'm going to find a new hobby, outside of gaming, when the all digital future arrives.

It really is disappointing that a game I -want- to love, keeps metaphorically spitting in my face because it lacks basic functionality.

I am done with the game for the night. And if this weekend is anything like last I might not play this weekend. Maybe detox myself from the game and do something else in life that doesn't stress me out, like the server issue does. You play video games to relax and enjoy yourself, not with MLB the Show 21.

I haven't had issues all week until tonight. I have to keep reloading. Played a conquest game and it didnt count. It got stuck trying to connect, and eventually timed out or something and I got zero xp, and it said something about the game summary couldn't be found. How annoying.

Awesome. I paid for chronic Network Errors and disconnects while in game. Absolutely ridiculous that servers can’t handle this but hey keep rolling out content. Giving new meaning to the word grind….try to connect to servers…go ahead try!

I’ve had a hard time doing it lately. Managed to flip enough to get Orel and Seaver but the server gave up on me

Yep. Last night was the first night I had no issues at all...I get home tonight and can’t even sign on.
Just give it some time though, the SDS shill brigade will be on to tell is to deal with it.

This is why integrating every aspect of the game with online servers was a TERRIBLE idea. This game is unplayable & single player is just a nightmare. RTTS is completely broken, progression & equipment is completely broken. There's almost no reason to play this game right now. Even you can get connected to the servers, they crash & you lose everything you did. I think I'd rather spend my time with Nier: Replicant or Returnal or even MLB 20.
But as far as MLB 21 goes, this game is half baked, WE ARE NOT YOUR BETA TESTERS, WE ARE YOUR ACTUAL CUSTOMERS! If I pay a 100 dollars, I expect a finished product. If you guys over at SDS can't deliver a product on a yearly basis maybe you guys need to switch to bi-yearly development with yearly update patches in between years. Because this is a sub-par product that is not ready for release in it's current state.
