You Still can't get pitcher experience

You still can't get pitcher experience for progression programs by using the option before a game to switch from hitter loadout. Seriously why is this a [censored] option if it isn't going to work? What a joke this game has turned into.
For the love of God just let us back out of the screen after picking play next game and we realize we are pitching. Since you clearly have no flippin clue what you are doing.
It's like you fired all your competent game developers from previous years and hired 3rd graders to replace them for this years game.

This is what I was asking about in another thread. Is it true that we only get progress by choosing the active load-out from the screen that pops up just before the game starts?
I have 4 load-outs, SP-NL, SP-AL, SS, and DH - pre-patch I would only get progress if I selected the active one, unfortunately I have no idea which load-out I will need until it's too late to switch which one is active. Why does my load-out need to be active to gain progress? I thought active meant it was the loadout that would be used in OTHER modes. -
Not working for me either. Seems SDS doesn't know how to fix it.

The fix would be an option to make load-out active when selecting it. I mean obviously if I am using it I want it to progress, so obviously I want it set to active when I choose it.

So 11 hours later I finally get a chance to login. I deleted my RTTS save and started over.
I still have my same 4 load-outs with SP-NL being active.
In 4 games I used all 4 load-outs and picked the load-out from the pop-up screen.
Only once did I choose the active load-out, all 3 other times I choose a non-active loadout.....
Results:
I got first inning XP, and archetype progress for all 4 games.
Each of my 4 different archetypes gained progression.
I'm happy - now I can grind him up into the legend I want. -
