Yep, it’s been explained; don’t know if clutch is the term for sure but there’s one. It was in a stream 2-3 years ago IIRC, responding to the comeback logic threads

I’m pretty sure they’ve also said clutch has an impact when runners are on base well before the 7th inning. Either way what was said in a stream three years ago, really doesn’t matter. H/9 K/9 Contact Vision HR/9 have all adapted since then, they need to have a updated thing every year when it at least someone explains new changes and quirks.
