REFUND EVERYONE

This game use to rock. Like most games, the next version has only marginal improvements. In this case, the new version has colossal failures. No importation of rosters or franchises from previous versions is a HUGE and irreconcilable failure. This alone compels a REFUND from gamers like me who spend hours creating rosters and franchises and expect portability. This has been an outstanding feature of The Show. I don't buy Madden for that very reason. It is just extremely poor product development. This is product development 101: don't remove desirable features from previous versions. Know what customers want. The PM for this project should quit immediately. I would fir him or her today. The game is falsely advertised and represented. SD Studios should refund everyone NOW.

I appreciate the information but not helpful. I pre-purchased and did not imagine this feature would ever be cut. It differentiated this game. My error was to trust this company.

No, your error is asking for a refund for something that was announced; if you didn’t do your research that’s on you.

Clearly you do not understand effective customer relations. An announcement does not mitigate disappointment and frustration. Customers that make repeat purchases become historically conditioned to expect that core features differentiating the product will be retained from year to year. I can accept responsibility for my research lapse, naively trusting the company to continue to maintain its brand salience and deliver on its promise and differentiation, but I still want a refund because it is such a horrendous omission. And why was it eliminated? I have purchased this game since its launch and don't recall being included in a product development query.

I understand your frustration, but clearly you don't understand responsible consumer behavior. Don't preorder. Or cancel your preorder once the information comes out.
I thought this was going to be about the server issues. THAT would be a good reason for demanding refunds.

Most people who play video games dont do so blindly. Most of us in here follow on Twitter, keep up with the announcements, watch the trailers and dev videos. You can be disappointed all you want over a lack of a feature but its your fault for not researching what you were buying and you're owed no form of compensation.

No server stability what so ever. Game is so bad, Xbox game pass should refund all subscribers for the month for including this game in the game pass. Thank god I didn’t waste any money on this game for service steaming pile of doggy [censored].

Xbox servers so bad that I am only in the second half of my first double aa season in rtts. I only get to play in the evenings and not every evening. I loved this game back on the PS3 when the only monetization was training points and that wasn’t required. I think if a games’s model is games for service; server stability should be of the utmost importance. I am not complaining about what features are in the game or not: I simply want to be able to sit down after a long day, pop a cold one, and wind down with a game or two after a long day. I tried to play tonight: got a few games of rtts in; but server keeps dropping. Guess I will play outriders or something to wind down tonight.

I get that, kind of hoping you were being sarcastic/facetious about a free game that shouldn’t have been on Gamepass, at least not for a couple of months

Makes sense that both parties added the game to game pass early. Nba2k does the same thing but they wait too long to do it. If the game you are producing has the potential for heavy monetization: they should want the game on a subscription service day one. Would I spend money on this game? Maybe if I had confidence that I could play without seeing “ the server could not be accessed at this time” screen more times than not.

To make sure we all understand correctly, you want to be paid for a free game you aren't happy with. And one that you care enough to visit the forums to discuss... As if you can't wait to get back to your DD grind

I actually teach it and understand it. The burden is not on the consumer, but the company. Consumers cannot be expected to research every aspect of a new product version or even read every new announcement. A simple solution when someone is dissatisfied with a low-risk purchase is refund. I am curious why the feature was eliminated. I don't have the time or inclination to follow twitter on product updates or read reviews. I expect a company to continue to reinforce its brand through vigilant retention of differentiated features. I am not complaining they won't offer me a refund. I am complaining they eliminated the feature and I expected it to be there.

But SOTS not being in the game was not announced until 2 days before early access. The thing that really irks me is the inability to download rosters from the vault, a feature that is CLEARLY advertised as a feature of this game. I pre-ordered as well - last time I make that mistake - but I am demanding a refund, because I'm NOT getting what I paid for.
