How to get a gold or diamond primary catcher ballplayer?

Seen a few YT videos saying it’s not possible especially since the slick fielder becomes a SS or CF. Anybody know an archetype to do it. Also heard secondary positions are broken so if you put him at secondary catcher he’s terrible.
