Did they do something to fielding?

Maybe it's just some ridiculous coincidence but playing a DD game and literally 8 grounders have gone right past my infielders in the same game. McMahon at 3rd who is silver so I understand a couple getting by or if it's smoked but none were hard hit. Then Bellinger at 1st (still a diamond 1B with secondary position penalty) let a normal grounder right by him. Then McMahon let a badly hit 79mph grounder go past him as if it was a rocket.
I haven't really noticed much buggy stuff with fielding yet this year but then in one game today it's just non stop "errors" on soft grounders.
So anyone else notice differences recently? I'm doing the newest Conquest. -

Cost me a game last night in RSAlso notice that my outfielders let [censored] go right through them too

OK so it's not just me. I've noticed base running is super buggy this year. I've normally been grinding on Veteran in Conquest because I can get way more hits than on All Star but normally still win 97% of my games on AS (I normally steal on AS) and just lost 2 in a row to the freaking Red Sox in this new Conquest map. I had only lost a couple other DD games prior out 100 plus games. It just feels wrong like they put sliders on it lol like the pitching, hitting and fielding have been tweeked or something.
Maybe I'm just having a bad day. I am curious if any other frequent Conquest players have noticed if this new map feels different though. -
If the game is laggy at all and even if not moving the analog stick left to right causes throwing errors it causes the fielder to not throw it can cause just about anything to happen like the things mentioned above. This is not new just a lot worse and especially on hit n runs it's just crazy don't know why but it's bad. (Online)

Yeah, in a single game my fielders let three catchable [censored] go right by them, like they didn’t even try to put the glove up to catch it and another ball bounced off Tim salmon’s glove (I’ll admit he isn’t the best fielder) but it went as a single on the scorecard which I found odd.

I wouldn’t mind it one bit if the game tilted more towards valuing defense this year.

I don’t think it’s a bug. Looks like more emphasis on separating poor, good, and great fielders. I am for this.

Eh I'd be for it if they didn't make guys look like little leaguers out there. I've had gold fielding players make errors that make an 8 year old look like a gold glover

I have had some bad choppers but nothing “little league “
