According to their Twitter, they have extended the Double XP from the weekend into this week indefinately due to their server issues.
Uh, extended? For that to be the case they would have needed to start it in the first place.

Legal action threats are too extra and overly dramatic at this point. SDS knows the threat is always there, which is why they are obligated to work on their game, which they have stated that they currently are doing and have done every year.
Then if they feel obligated why is this an issue every year? Why is the gameplay the same every year. The animations, the look of the game is the same every year. Even the [censored] classic stadiums, the commentating is the same every year. If they arent going to focus on the small changes like that, where is their focus going then? Look, server issues I can understand. Especially this year with an overload of gamers. But to not be able to get XP right? Cmon
Yes, which is why they have extended the Double XP indefinately or until they know that everyone has actually acquired that opportunity.
I was under the impression the extension was due to server issues. Did SDS come out and actually acknowledge the XP is broken? Some people on here are saying they arent getting any XP at all. I just got done with yet another game, won 15-1 vs CPU, end game XP 8800 and brought my total from 358,000 and change to 362,970. So half the XP registered again lol.
Guys I really hope people get where im coming from. Im not upset at the servers. Im not dogging the gameplay or its animations. Im not crying about PCI or trash hitting. Im not crying about pack odds. Im saying that there is LITERAL PROOF we are getting shammed.
This is what their Twitter post stated:
"Our priority is to improve our server stability and performance. As we continue to work on those issues, we will be extending the Double XP until further notice. Thank you all for your reports and your continued patience." (MLB The Show, Twitter, April 24, 2021)

So they havent acknowledged the broken XP for people not only not getting double as advertised but their are gamers not getting any at all.
