It’s nearly 3am eastern and servers are still a mess

I’m starting to think it isn’t just too much load on the servers. No way there should be so much traffic online right now that there are still crashes.

The game sucks, they should offer a refund. I’d take it
The gameplay itself is awesome but the server instability is no joke -
It’s probably an issue between PSN/Xbox and I’m guessing they were aware of it prior to launch.

12:45am pacific time, and the POS servers kicked me out and I can't get back in...

3 am in texas and just got kicked out of DD. Everything seemed to be running fine. Possible alot of traffic overseas?
What an absolute sh*tshow almost nothing has worked with properly

Because the game hasn’t changed much since last year, cross play is the new variable. We are doing the beta test for cross play but we paid launch price to do that. They had to have known it was bugged but had to release it anyway because there’s a hard deadline for sports games.

Unhandled server exception error happens when data is being exchanged. I've given a deeper description in the other thread.
Why is it still slow at 3 am? Caching. Anybody that's played a game on a PC can relate to trying to do something after playing a game 12 hours. The windows computer takes a little while to switch tasks and a reboot always solves the issue.
If SDS didn't reboot overnight, we're in for a long day. Gameplay will be fine, but navigation is going to be a nightmare.

It actually worked well for me last night... best night all week. I still would get sent back to the games home screen and get the server message... but all my games still counted and was always able to get right back in to DD.

I lost a conquest game at like 230 in the morning. Completely absurd.

Indeed we did. Many times. I think I reported it in the feedback, but I also remember thinking it was something linked to the beta and wouldn't show up in the main game.

Same. Now I will know for future that if servers are garbo during beta then they aren't going to be much better when launched. I'm sure there are many possible explanations but the one the same to make the most logical sense is crossplay.
