Inning Program Pacing

Is it more difficult to acquire the inning bosses this year as compared to previous years? Or is it about the same?

It Difficult not as much XP to earn

I think it might be easier. Ive done topps now,mantle,davis,giambi all conquest maps once,half the affinity moments,2 showdown,the starter showdown, and the starter moments and am at 330k .
ive also been fortunate to have been on when its stable and except for that first shaowdown and a handful of conquest to not have games not count -
It's easier if you just play the game instead of just searching for ways to gain XP.

You get way more XP playing offline, you pretty much get nothing for XP playing RS. I played 6 games of RS yesterday and got 0 XP. Most those games went 9 innings. Showdown and CQ seem to give you the most XP.

Last year if I was committed I could stay up to the middle of the night on Friday when the New Inning came out and get to the Boss. Maybe it’s harder to tell this year since the servers have been horrible, but I have played every day since the 16th and I’m not even half-way to the Boss pack yet.

I don't want to say it was impossible to get to the program boss the same night but I would say it was close to impossible. I play a [censored] ton and it would take me at least 2-3 days and that is if they had enough missions/extras to get there. Maybe you did, I am not calling you a liar but just saying completing 300 program stars the first night is a stretch.

Did you do the collection? The showdown isn't out until later today. I'm guessing those two things played a huge part of why you got the boss the first night. If they made it so a couple of tryhards can't get the boss in 8 hours than that is perfectly fine by me

It is very difficult, yes. I’m not an elite player, but I can grind and it would take ~12 hours for me to
Do it only taking breaks to eat really. I accomplished it more than once, but most of the time it took me a few days of normal grinding like you said. Trust me, I have zero reason to ever attempt to brag about playing a video game
For 12 hours lol. Sometimes I just get that goal in my head of finishing it and I just keep
Going until it’s done. -

Just literally got my boss now. 1 week after early access. I dont think i did that last year. More or less the same I think

So far I haven’t done the collection, the showdown(obviously) and I also didn’t do conquest. I started it the first day and got so annoyed with the aggressiveness of the CPU and having to defend Strongholds I already took I got annoyed. I’m going to have to use a different strategy on those than last year as I used to breeze through them.
Most of my gameplay has been the event, the moments and Team Affinity Showdowns so far. Haven’t even tried a Ranked game yet because I don’t want to be taking L’s from the server in the top of the 1st.

I remember grinding my [censored] off to get Felix Hernandez until
~5:00 AM the night that Inning Program came out. Listed him and went to bed. 24 hours later he was selling for more. That one stung. -

I think locking in the previous inning’s bosses gave you a ton of points. I think most people who did it so quickly would do that.

I think locking in the previous inning’s bosses gave you a ton of points. I think most people who did it so quickly would do that.
Yea I don’t think you could get it the first night without that. I would always lock in the bosses, do Showdown and Conquest which would give you a huge chunk. Then make sure I got all the Missions, collections, etc. and just grinding the games would get you the rest of the

Well, the dailies don’t pay as much, thats for sure. To pay the same (300 stars vs 350k XP), they would have to be between 2 500 and 5 000 xp. They’re about 200-300 right now. Not worth it.

Yeah, I looked at the dailies and decided I’m not doing these.
