Will the inning programs get locked once the new one comes out?
-
So I haven't played in a few years, and I know in previous games they used to let you still work towards program rewards even when new ones had come out. For example, if the current program was a 7th inning one, you could still work towards 1st inning rewards.
Is that still the case or will they be shutting down the missions and moments etc for you to make progress on old programs?

I believe only the daily mission progress is locked out on the 1st inning as all that XP goes to the 2nd inning, but any mission or moment attributed just to the 1st inning will still be open for you to earn and it'll count just to the 1st inning program.

I hope it works this way like last year. But there is an expiration date on the 1st inning conquest map. It says it expires May 7th, 2:00 pm. So it may not work the same.

Nothing has shown that is going to be the case this year. Previous years that worked because the system used program stars tied to individual programs.
This year we don't have that. We just have XP as the only thing driving program progression. Add to that the 1st Inning Conquest Map expires (and is the only thing I've seen in game so far that states it expires) and I'm doubting we will be able to make any progress on the 1st Inning program once May 7th arrives

That is all true everyone; last year's method may not be the same this year, but I can't fathom that we wouldn't be able to still work towards progress on the 1st inning after the 2nd comes out (and any subsequent transition afterwards).
I do like this year that you can't get the program completed in 3 hours. I got so sick of the inflated costs of all the cards due to that.
