Not to name names but what is the deal with streamers that post YT videos and have this dopey “surprised” face on their video thumbnails? It’s like every single one of them have the exact same expression. It’s so dorky. Anyone else notice this?

Apparently having your mouth open in the thumbnail makes it more likely for YouTube's algorithm to recommend your videos new audiences. At least that's what I heard

I always thought that was cheesy. Seems some of them use the same image for years now. But at the same time, I see that same thing for other topic channels too. Must have been a cool thing at one point. Kind of turns me away sometimes.

I mean do you want their face to be sad with a title saying “this card is cracked?!” Lol I think people just find a reason to complain for the fun of it. Who cares. Just play the game. Watch their content. Support one another. Not judge.

A lot of those guys/girls are actually friends. They do silly stuff like that on purpose, sometimes just poking fun at one another's thumbnails.
If you can get passed the open mouth selfies check out some of the videos. There are some that are fantastic for tutorials etc.

YT Streamer Starter Pack:
- Take 1 minute of content and stretch it into a 10 minute video
- Start every video with "What's up guys, it's your boy [INSERT CLEVER NICKNAME HERE]
- Say "Like and subscribe below" 3 times for every 1 useful bit of info actually shared

Some content creators make really good videos. I just watched a flipping video from a lesser known streamer and it was awesome. Some of the more mainstream guys make a 30 min video of them hitting tanks In BR and it’s totally inane.
