Throw any compensation our way? Some of us have lost a lot of progress due to this.Also, I don’t trust doing anything right now. I don’t want to spend 40 minutes on a game just for it to crash.

Servers are now back online. We will continue to monitor and work to improve stability.Am i the only one that is super unsatisfied with this response? Granted its better than nothing but how after all of these years does SDS continue to have issues with their servers. That's what I want to know. I want to know how SDS and the powers that be allow this to happen every single year and give the same canned responses as if they soo surprised that they have server issues. This isnt some indy game studio we are talking about here. This is sony, they should be much better than this.

Been playing this for years and years, beta tester, etc. It is always the same when a new game launches, takes weeks to work it out. You would think by now they SDS would finally get this all worked out. Probably be more buggy with cross-play, come on SDS!!! get this resolved for god's sake.

Yes!!! Every year is the same, for about the first few weeks, I'm curious now that there is cross-play if it will be even longer.
How have they not learned to plan for it? Just rent extra servers with all the money you got from pre orders. You would literally have to like not have a memory to not plan for that as a business. Either that or they know the servers will be flooded on release, but don't want to pay extra after traffic dies down.
Trust me they know and don’t care. They have our money and in a few days they will be giving out XP and stubs and everyone will be happy. And they still have our money
I'll tell ya what. I'm not going to be happy. I paid money for something (Jackie Robinson edition) that didn't work. I'm gonna need that cash back or I'm not gonna be satisfied. I wish people realized that we are stronger together. If we all aren't satisfied with being placated, then they will have to do something.

Oh trust me I’m not either but don’t underestimate the large amount of ppl itching for the game to come back online just to buy stubs.

While the issue was acknowledged I'd like to ask a few things about how this was handled and the why's of it.
Why did it take so long for SDS to acknowledge there was a problem? This has been known for hours as Post were made and I am sure the Servers are continuously monitored by someone.
What is actually causing the issue? Instead of a quick statement, "They are back online". A statement of why this occurred could help clear up some false statements about what the community thinks.
Why is there a direct problem between the game and the website? Are they on the same server? Is there an underlying issue of too much going on at once that is causing problems on both sides?
Why is this an issue every year with MLBTS? While I am sure the group never wants this to happen. The past should tell SDS something drastic has to change. This can't go on.
If an issue arises again, maybe issue a quicker acknowledgement and warn those who put time and effort into the game only to find it was for nothing but an Error Occurred.
No compensation is needed for something that cost nothing but time. But for those who are losing stubs and cards, something has to be done to make it right.

I still can't access the market via my phone. Can't even log in. Keep getting "Error logging in"...

Unable to access the market from desktop. When I try to sign in (using PSN credentials) it returns "Error logging in!".

I just want to know what’s gonna happen to everyone that lost all progress in the game. All my stubs are gone and players and DLC from the Jackie Robinson edition ($99).
