This has been a fun thread to go through the past two seasons, so lets get it going again.
So far, I've only started a White Sox and Giants M2O and I haven't gotten to any call-ups or trades for San Francisco yet. For the White Sox, I've made some moves that I hate from a realism perspective with my South Siders acquiring Taijuan Walker, Kris Bryant, Josh Hader, and Javier Baez all in separate trades.
I've struggled with Walker a bit when he's been on the mound but Bryant and Hader have been phenomenal. I haven't gotten too much time with Baez yet but this is how I have the lineup set at the moment:
(C) Yasmani Grandal
(1B) Jose Abreu
(2B) Tim Anderson
(SS) Javier Baez
(3B) Yoan Moncada
(LF) Kris Bryant
(CF) Luis Robert
(RF) Adam Eaton
(DH) Andrew Vaughn
Bench: Adam Engel (OF), Zack Collins (C)
That’s crazy that you got all four in different trades. My trade offers have been awful. Twice now they tried offering me Manuel Margot and he sucks at hitting. And just today they offered me Scott Alexander from the dodgers in return for two B potential guys lol.
I got realmuto and Trevor story in my jays run. There was another but I forgot who it was.
In the Astros run I did I got Keibert Ruiz and Cavan Biggio. I had a couple of more opportunities but none of the trades offered to me were any good or useful to the team. The Keibert Ruiz trade actually did nothing because he ended up not doing very well during the swimming and I called up prospect Korey Lee and sent Ruiz down.
Hit the deadline with the Cubs and had maybe 6 or 7 different opportunities for trades but only made 3 trades.
The first couple rounds of offers were really bad so in the first trade I took Miguel Rojas because I wanted a hitting upgrade for Hoerner at 2nd.
The next trade i took was for J.D. Martinez and placed him in left and have Pederson and Heyward platooning in right.
And then the last trade I took was for Whit Merrifield, even though I had already taken Rojas he was a much larger upgrade that I was originally looking for.
I was also offered Starling Marte and Kyle Seager multiple times but passed on them sue to having no where to really play them.
In my one with the Indians I was able to trade for starling marte, jd Martinez, Gallo, and Trevor story.
Got Joey Gallo's and Quintana in my Jays MTO.
With the Jays MTO, ended up getting Aaron Nola and Shane Beiber in separate trades.
Won the WS with the 3 aces lol. Beiber - Ryu - Nola
Joey Gallo and Trevor Story get offered to me every year. Im on my 3rd MTO run (twice with Yankees, now with Dodgers) Both times with the Yankees, i got Gallo and Story.
Right now with the Dodgers, i got Gallo and just finished a trade for Jose Ramirez where i gave up 3 low level scrubs. I dont even propose trades either...this is just stuff being offered to me so i usually take it if its a better bat in my lineup.
I picked up Tyler Glasnow and Gallo for the Jays....They need starting pitching and a good lefty bat with power.
