How do you deal with losing?

I come on to this forum and complain about comeback logic and how my opponent was taking advantage of animations. Then I talk about how much I know about baseball because I washed out at the college level 20 years ago and how I would win “if this was real baseball.” Then I shut off the phone, kick the leg of my coffee table and angrily cry myself to sleep.
I feel personally attacked.

After a tough loss I usually just watch some Pornhub & then I feel better.

I'd love to lose a game to anyone at this point, if it's a 9 inning game. I'm 10-10, 7 of those losses are freeze offs to guys that refuse to shut their system down. I have limited time to play with work and family, so I don't sit there like an idiot for 3 hours waiting for a win neither person earned.

A couple of people have mentioned perspective & I recommend keeping that in front of you. You're playing a videogame in a climate controlled home with high speed internet. It could be worse.

My goal this year is to not get as frustrated with it.
Its going to happen. Already happened once on a swinging bunt with bases loaded 1 out in extras (catcher came out to play it and I had no shot at home or to turn 2.......) but thats kind of what baseball is I guess.
I'm hoping with improved pitch control I wont feel that frustration as much. Last year it was always due to pitches just grooving over the plate when I had good releases.

There is RNG for basically every game in existence, this game could not exist without it. I think it would be extremely rare to find anyone who believed such a thing.

Just think of it as baseball. Where the best team loses 60 to 70 times a year. Or 35 to 40 percent of the time. Best teams in baseball lose to the worst teams all the time. They just want to win each series more than an individual game. But since you only play each person 1 game at a time in the show, you just have to move on. If you are truly better you will win more in the long run. It's a marathon in baseball. Not a sprint.

See, that is a misconception though.
While yes, those trash hits are part of RNG, RNG isn't some boogie man that is out to get you. It has real functions as well that make a game a game, it doesn't exist just to screw you or help you depending on your viewpoint. Especially in a baseball game where the sport itself can be a bit random
Now don't take that as me saying the 'ThAtS BaSeBaLl" argument, skill should win out, but most people only associate RNG with helping less skilled opponents, when it is way more then that.
