All Star Difficulty

Is anyone else having trouble getting out of All Star difficulty this season? I've been able to make world series the past two seasons, last season with ease. However, this season I can't seem to win any games what so ever I'm stuck at 600. Thought it might be a slump but everyone seems to be beating me this season, guys who I can clearly see aren't better than me hitting multiple home runs. ERA is usually around 4.00 this season its around 7.00. Did something change? I seem to be able to hit and pitch properly in the event at HOF. Just wanted to see if anyone else was having this issue?

I didn't notice a difference this season (to be clear all star has been atrocious all year). I started from 450 as I didn't play the previous season and am now at around 818.
Are you seeing more lineouts, bloops, errors or hung pitches or what is it? Have you been checking the PCI analysis post match?

I'm not sure I don't feel like i'm doing anything different from last season. I have been squaring up balls and they go for line outs, my input has been terrible, I hang pitches on perfect releases, guys hitting homers on pitches out the zone. Definitely have noticed my pitching input has been off more than ever this season. I'm scoring tons of runs just giving them up more than I ever had. Bought a new controller and still an issue. Don't want to stop playing the game i've enjoyed it, despite frustrations, but this season has been the most frustrating one after going 16-5 last season to make world series i'm 9-11 this season at 580. Wish I knew what the issue was, since for the event I am on everything but it's also on HOF.

One thing I would point out is that even on all star the competition in this last season will be stiffer as its mainly only the hardcore players that are still playing. So that added with the RNG particularly on all star difficulty and you might get a lot of annoying nonsense.

You’re right, went into a game lost to a guy who had a 15-16 record bronze level. I was squaring everything up nothing. Dude was swinging at everything hit multiple homers off of me, jammed hits. All Star difficulty is terrible in this game. Went into a HOF event game, everything I squared up went out. I don’t get it, too many inconsistencies with this game. Hopefully they get it right with 20.

All star is unfortunately notorious with allowing hits outside of the zone. Unless you can get the opponent to swing and pop up on pitches way over the zone, I would look to pitch either left or right, outside the zone. The opponent will still get some jammed and rolled over hits but at least those pitches are way more difficult to hit for homeruns.
Also, I would look to pitch down and inside and down and away (just outside the zone on both dimensions). Don't pitch down and middle as that is the easiest spot to get your PCI to, even when swinging wildly.

I feel for you. Yesterday I lost to a guy who was either early or late. Had one good squared. I’m good good or squared most of my at bats and they are outs. It’s so bad at this point most of the guys that routinely make ws are just putting different team builds to make it a challenge instead of using their god squads

I seem to be very streaky. I can hit a ball Good/Squared Up 6 times in a row and get hard liners straight to the outfielder or grounders....then next game I get 6 Home-Runs. I seem to be very streak per game. If I start with a hard liner, all my hits will go that way. If I start with a HR, then rest of that game I will be godly. I think the streakiness needs to adjusted a little more in game.

I forgot to add, that ends up being what kills me in moving up. I keep getting close but I am just not there to World Series yet. Then again I have only played like 30 ranked games this season. I am too busy doing all the other events and BRs that I seem never to have time to play RS.
