Disconnects on Homeruns
-
I really thought this would be the year SDS would fix it to where if someone disconnects on purpose they let the play finish before ending the game. This has been going on forever. People disconnect on purpose to preserve stats and rage quit knowing that the other person will not get credit for the HR, RUNS, RBI's or whatever. How hard is it to program the game to continue the current play before ending the game?!?!?! This is one of the things that drives us NUTS. SDS PLEASE FIX IN NEXT UPDATE. Can I get an Amen????

Because they can’t do anything about people closing their game. There’s literally nothing they can do about it

I mean there is, but it would be pretty harsh, especially to players who actually have accidental disconnects

They can do something about it. If someone disconnects, they let the play continue until it ends, just like if their controller disconnected. Then, when the play is over, count the stats and end the game.

You know the definition of the word "connection" right?

Who cares, you get a win.

No amen to you. A win is a win and this isn’t mlb 16 where stats arm any type of legit reward so idc let them run I’ll take my win

I’m with you on this one in that it could be done. However maybe not as a priority. It’s lame to think that people probably actually do it, for sure, but at this tumultuous time (post release) its time to focus on fixing the things that are gamebreakers.
Hopefully this will make it into a future release though. Takes away from that dopamine hit from nailing a dinger when the play is cut short. And dopamine seems to be a key goal in game development.
