Cross Play with Friends not Working?

Me, nor can anyone I know, can connect with players on our friends list through cross play. Any idea how to get around this? Diamond dynasty and Play now both won't allow users to ready up.

Maybe we have to wait until the game officially launches later today and they let the gen pop in?

I'm on PS4 and my Friend is on next gen XBOX and we played against each other all night on friday night, I woke up saturday morning all my stuff was gone, and we haven't been able to get into a game against each other since.

Yeah my friend and I who have ps5 and xbox series s respectively are having the same issue.

My mate has a PS4 and Im on Xbox Series X and we still cant ready up.
