That there’s an epidemic of relievers dropping their gloves when they get to the mound. I never knew that was an issue in Major League Baseball.
All joking aside, I’m noticing that squaring up and perfect, perfect feel great, but otherwise the PCI is much less forgiving than in the past. Even balls I’m just missing are nothing grounders or soft fly outs.
I’m not sure what to make of this dynamic fielding camera. Did they change it? I can’t remember what I used last year. I tried the different options this year and I can’t find the one I used last year (or it’s changed).
Along with the issue of outfielders not locking on to balls, is anyone else seeing an increased issue of infielders not fielding balls cleanly? Even routine balls sometimes get bobbled. Strange.
Also, might just be me in limited sample size but it seems like CPU is hitting much better against me, a lot more homers than in the past in conquest games

Oh yeah, and these pitch speeds are crazy. I’m early on everything. I can’t slow myself down enough. Even when it seems like I’m waiting forever, I’m still early except for the occasional inside fastball

I’m early on a lot of pitches and when I try to slow myself down I’m horribly late. It’s usually my first few games then I get it down.

Also, it seems like they sometimes assign the wrong fielder on balls in play. I go to chase it thinking they would highlight the CF and instead they picked my LF and I’m running the wrong way. Notice too late to switch sometimes

And relievers are still dropping their gloves when they get to the mound. Along the same lines, why are we still throwing the ball in the dirt at first on the third out? Why is that even a thing?
Aside, hitting just seems unrewarding right now unless you get perfect perfect. The CPU is actually giving me a hard time in conquest, mainly because I can’t hit. Not sure if I’m just having a bad night or what. I can’t score on the CPU in conquest. this has never happened before. I actually switched fr
Playing on veteran to all-star just to up the pitch speeds. Game seems to play a little better on all-star.Also, the CPU has a great eye at the plate. It’s unreal. Also, Victor Robles catches everything in CF. Nothing falls.

I "like" the ones where the RF runs 70ft or more to catch it in center when the CF could run 20.

About the CPU having a great eye I absolutly agree. I mentioned it in another post but the astros beat me 6 times in a row. Alverez hit 3. The last one was a ball and he crushed it. I was livid.

It's not complicated.
Give the players thee exact same coding that's given the CPU. Fixes every single issue with game play.
and while we're at it.....why in the absolute f**k can't we go back to where we were in our inventory if we go to the market and back? Absolutely asinine that we go back to the top, I stead of where we were. We've only been saying this for 6 years now that I know of️ -

The Conquest I have had some issues but I found if I keep the ball low at the bottom of the zone, No HR's and less hits, only throw up when I have 2 strikes on the CPU.

Conquest for sure!! It took a short while for me to notice. Wasnt running through it and CPU really fighting back

The fielding needs some work bigtime. I hope they at least acknowledge the situation.

Right? It's ridiculous. I use my instincts to start moving a guy thinking its the best guy to chase a fly ball or grounder, and sometimes they pick someone else.

It almost feels like conquest is being played on a higher level, at least that's what I started to think last night.

Agreed..I dont mind..Good practice like the missions this year and last..Good way to get XP early and packs as well..I liked last year in the programs those missions..What was good was it put you in scenarios and I found different unorthodox ways to put runners across especially against tough comp..I was expecting to run through the 1st inning conquest mode and get those easy program stars and packs. I actually got 2 more strongholds to grab..Was expecting it to be done on like 2 hours not 3 days lmfao
