Does anyone else feel like from the card art (42 series, 40/40 Soriano card) and the UI we’ve seen for 21 looks very lackluster and lazy? The Soriano card gives me Mr.Rogers Neighborhood vibes with the colors and background and don’t even get me started on the attribute bars on cards those are horrendous. Diamond dynasty to me is the best when you collect BASEBALL CARDS not fantasy cards which were cool at first but I feel like have lost their shine and glory. To me I think that Soriano card shown off yesterday is the ugliest mlb the show card I’ve ever seen. Please SDS go back to your roots next year and just make the card art Topps baseball cards, some of the designs like 2002, 2011, 2014, 2018 etc, are all better designs than ones you can come up with (except finest those designs are always fire).

Ugliest MLB the show card you have ever seen? You have seen face of the franchise Bagwell right?

Imagine saying that's the ugliest card you have ever seen when they literally released 32 face of the franchise legends with just their face and team colors behind them lmao

I’d take that over this card any day, that Soriano card is gross

Card Art is better than any game out there!

Honestly last year had the best and worst I’d say. The awards cards looked incredible. Best ever for me. MVP Babe just looks like a million dollar card. The rest were just okay.
The Soriano does look like a poster you’d hang as opposed to a baseball card but I’m sure once the 10 other series of cards get added it’ll just be a nice mix. The 42s are a bit boring but the choices are insane so I don’t really care what they look like if I’m being honest. Way to excited for Griffey and Pedro.

Dante shovelface Bichette.
No honestly I like it. I was a little hesitant st first, but after looking at it for a bit, it gives me a 50s vibe and I enjoy that.

I just want more of the wooden border topps cards this year mixed in. That style rocked back in the day!

I personally like the card art they are doing. I live having loads of variations on the cards. I also don't care too much about the menus either. If thwy are fast, I dont care what they look like.

Yes, the UI this year looks kind of hollow and honestly looks like wireframes still waiting for design.

The biggest issue was alway line up diversity with 18 being the worst offender in that sense. 19 was better but feel into a trap with the Sig series by end game. 20 improved alot and lineup screens where great with so many different line up. More card series is always great as line ups can de diverse. I love the new "club" series art, I'm excited to see if the have done a full art update or just select series

I for one am going to let them slide on the graphic/ui stuff.cause its not like a year and half ago at the beginning of 20s development that, hey guess what you have to develop for a 2nd platform next year oh and 2 additional consoles also.and then several months later was, oh hey. ya know all that quadruple work you were already doing?now you got to do it with only 20%(or less) of your team in at a time.good luck.
So yeah, they get benefit of the doubt this year, and probably kudos for what they were able to do with what they had to work with. -
