Best DD memories you have???
-
Im bored at work, waiting couple more days for friday......whats one or two best memory you guys have from playing DD throughout the years??
17 was my first year playing from opening day and i kept getting to 890ish every month and never could make it to ws. Freaking year of going against nolan ryan i swear to god id hit around 890 an then get matched up againsthim lol never could hit him.......until finally i think it was August and i cameback from like 4 or 5 in the 9th to win it to make it to 900 rating. Funny and sadly it Was my last rank game that year due to like a week later my still current girlfriend broke my disc an thru it in the trash cause i played to much. Im sure 30 years from now ill still remember this. -
Earning Kershaw in MLB 15 after playing the game for no longer than 15 minutes. Rented it from redbox because I was craving a beisbol game, and he popped up. I had no idea what it meant or how rare it was at the time.

It has to be when I figured out how to actually do Conquest in 17. I was so turned off from the mode cause it was to many game to play to get the whole map. Then I realized months later after going back to RTTS and other games that you only had to play strong holds and could Sim everything else then I got hooked and explored more of DD and haven't looked back since

I have a few. started playing in 14.
1st favorite . started a new pitcher in rtts in 16 and as a 59 ovr in AA threw my first perfect game ever. topped 2 months later as a 72 ovr in mlb with a no hitter.
2nd-after the idk how many attempts, finally got the 2nd double with jp crawford in the 26th inning.
My 1st cycle was pretty special, and in 19 or 20 i had my 1st 4 hr game after about a dozen 3 hr games. -
Walkoff with Sheffield in the 9th after being down 5-0 I slowly came back and won it in the 9th
-
My first pull of the big fish back in 17. Although it had lost its luster a bit after 6 trout pulls in 20

When I was in New Orleans and went to Rick's on Bourbon Street. I probably spent more than I made, but sure loved watching those double D's gobble my singles.
-
Unlocking Griffey in 17 definitely my #1. Can’t wait for Day 1 Jr this year.
-
Definetly when i beat weens19, aka the Philly All-Stars in BR
-
Hitting 3 homeruns in a single game with MVP Griffey Jr this year.

This guy was beating me 8-1 in the 4th inning when I get invited to his party. He tells me how he has had diarrhea and feels it coming on & wanted to know if I could please quit...I said no, But I’ll take a friendly quit - He said no & I then said ok & left the party. We reach the 6th inning & the score hasn’t changed & the friendly quit comes over. At this point I realize he wasn’t lying & actually has to [censored]. So I reject the friendly quit & watch the timer keep ticking down until it hit zeroes & I got the win. That is my favorite memory.

Just chillin, grinding stats, no stress of doing moments over and over.

Seasons 2-5 were probably the best episodes of The X-Files and most of the best DD moments (Jose Chung's From Outer Space, Clyde Bruckman's Final Repose, Syzygy, War of the Caprophages, etc) are all during that time. GA was definitely at her peak hotness from seasons 3-5.
-
Turning down extra hours this Friday because I will otherwise occupied.

Your favorite memory is getting whooped but still winning?! Lol.

My best memory is making a well known streamer not only ragequit the game but also ragequit his stream with a lot of people watching, after I obliterated him in BR. Normally I'm not so petty, but I can't stand this particular person so I absolutely enjoyed every second of it.

My best moment was in 2020. So I was losing by 3 and it was the top of the 9th. I was pitching and the three outs where back to back robbed homeruns. They were caught by my CAP Captian Bulldog and HRD Judge. Then in left Mantle made a diving catch. Then in bottom of 9th I walked with Judge, then doubled with 97 Bellinger and then walked with Pitcher (I think Bob Gibson) then with my CAP I hit a 470ft bomb to walk it of.
My second best was probably in 2017 when I pulled my first diamond and it was Altuve. (wonder why he was a diamond lol. ) -
