Would like to see multiple versions of the top players. Not just an 86 version jumping right up to the 99 version that’s near unattainable. Not all cards but they should do R,BO,AS,IV,HW like in years past of the top guys than just the 99 version of top players. For example, Sheffield only had 2 Marlins cards (I think BO or AS and awards) last year and I was hoping for a dodgers, braves and Yankees version. The evolution of the most popular players would add more lineup variety. Imagine an expo, Red Sox and Mets version of Pedro! Or a cardinals or expo Larry walker!

Sadly the evolution comes year to year. Expect to see multiple versions of the two guys you named this year, and less versions of the guys just announced like Hank and Pedro. Once they are in the game they tend to release more and more versions of them, but still change it up year to year, meaning you might not see the same BO Cargo this year, or MVP Donaldson.

They also tend to try to give away a version of the card that was last years collection for close to free the next year. Babe Ruth was extremely rare and expensive in 19, then last year was a free grind. This year you may see a 99 Mays for free months down the road in a all timers sort of moments, and next year hank.

Completely agree with the op. The tough line to walk is that it becomes too close to mlbts 18 which the community didn’t like (I enjoyed it as an offline player only). I’d love to see a version of each player for every team they played for.

We're also getting to the point where there are A LOT of legends in the game now and only so many spots for cards.

We're more likely to see the continuation of stars getting fewer and fewer cards per year
