Countdown to Launch Stubs/Packs?
-
I remember in years past, they used to have videos that if you watched you’d get to redeem a free pack or 1k stubs for every video. Not sure they do that anymore, but has anyone seen/heard differently?

Twitch apparently changed the way they do Twitch Drops and SDS is working on getting it up and running

I don't believe the OP is talking about twitch drops. They used to have videos hosted on their home pages that allowed you to watch and earn packs.
As for Twitch drops, both Out Of The Park Baseball on PC and No Mans Sky on all platforms had Twitch Drops in the last two weeks. If SDS really wanted to then they could have figured it out.
Maybe there is a limitation because they are not streaming live. These are pre-recorded videos that have been uploaded and scheduled to run at a specific time (and on multiple platforms). In the past people abused the ability to play pre-recorded videos 24/7 as a way to lure people to their channels for twitch drops so maybe twitch stopped allowing drops on pre-recorded videos.

I think they stopped this because there was some kind of glitch where you could go in and watch the videos multiple times; thus getting multiple packs/stubs.
