Presitge Stats Diversification
-
If prestige stats still exist, any chance we can get them more diversified, based on what the player was actually good at? Ie, for Lou Brock, could steals be the prestige stats? For Rivera, could saves be the prestige stats? For a defensive star player, maybe x number of plays without an error? For a strikeout pitcher, maybe x number of games with at least 10 strikeouts?
I think more diversified prestige stats to obtain other than the standards being the same for every player would be cool. If the data files are stored in JSON, this should be easy to add. To start, you could do this by player 'Type', which could be some of a kind of breakdown like above. 'Reliever', 'Base Stealer', 'Strikeout Artist', etc. .... could be initial, default classes, of which could be expanded in future versions as well.
Anyway, just an idea..

It's a good idea but certain thinks like Saves just wouldn't work. You bring in Rivera up 3? Instant quit by your opponent. Guaranteed. Getting saved for the Blake Treinen play program was brutal because A. He wasn't that good to begin with and B.players would just quit so you won't get the save. This wouldn't be a problem if you could prestige offline obviously
