Imagine not having a ps5 yet
Imagine rushing to get a ps5 when there are basically no good games for it yet
Imagine having the original launch ps4 that sounds like a garbage truck when trying to run COD all while not sniffing 60fps in online play... Then maybe you can imagine why I "rushed" to get a ps5.

So what's the consensus, should I get a PS5 to have an advantage!?!?!?!??
The advantage is only slight. Literally no framerate issues and a slightly smoother experience is all you get right now.
I don’t know about that Man. Trying to play a game made for 60 frames on hardware that maxes out at about 30 frames can be a total nightmare. Unless they severely downgrade the PS4 version of the game...if I were a PS4 user right now I’d rather a downgrade in order to maximize performance.
I'm starting to think the advantage is a bit greater than I initially described. I'm doing my first WS run this year, currently at 830 or so.

Create-a-stadium won't be available in DD. It will only work offline. You would both have to have the stadium saved locally to be able to use them.

I picked up my PS5 yesterday and the game looks great on it. The issue I have is the controller lag. Is it better to use a PS4 controller with this game?
System is in performance mode. -

System is in performance mode.I wish I still had my PS4 controller to experience the difference. I've been reading/listening to a lot of complaints about the controller lag, and I have been struggling with my timing for weeks (maybe since I got my PS5 a little over a month ago). I too have it on performance mode and faster in game setting. I'm either too early or on the the wrong-side of good. Maybe it's the lag, or maybe I'm just a sucky-suckerson

try going into saved data and game/app settings. change that to performance mode. also video output settings need to be changed from automatic to match your monitor

Not true. They advertised playing vs friends online with them. I don't believe they'll be in events or RS/BR, but possibly in leagues.

Create a stadium is in online if you don't adjust the fences and use one of the 150 I think it was fence preloads the game comes with. The game is cross platform so you have to be able to play ps4 or Xbox 1 in those stadiums. People will load those stadiums up with whatever they can to try to slow down frames on the older systems. It could become an advantage
