Ah thanks for sharing?!

The final Showdown for me was Kenley Jansen. I only needed to store 5 runs though ️

So I decide to skip to the final showdown just to see what happens. Knowing it will be really hard, but hey, what the heck, you know?
Well, what a sucker I am. 500 stub entry fee, fine. But the prize for the final challenge is a live gold card.
But here's the kicker: To win that card you have to score 16 RUNS. Yes, SIXTEEN, on ALL-STAR, against legend Roy Oswalt, before making 15 outs, to win the final challenge.
For a lousy GOLD card.
What. The. Fuuuuudge. Thanks for stealing everyone's stubs, SDS. That's horse bleep, fellas. And you KNOW it is.
It literally says what you need to do for the final mission before you skip all the other ones. Its also Kenley Jansen and not Roy Oswalt
-
I spent 1000 stubs, got 70 program stars and pulled Joey Gallo. Sounds like a you problem.

The more challenges you complete prior to the final one it gets easier later on

I am just sharing information, smart guy. Good lord.

Every single person here is missing the point completely. How many people who are new to the game aren't aware of this and just giving SDS 500 stubs to lose? A ton. It's a horrible look. And if you disagree, I don'y care. I'm not gonna argue with Millennials all day online. Read and understand the point of the post, and be constructive and polite, or move on. Geez.

Read and understand your first post is anything but constructive and polite. What did you expect? Not everyone is having the same issues as you and if you are having issues, I suggest creating a thread about your troubles and asking for help. Not slandering the [censored] game mode bc you lost 500 stubs and feel like it's impossible
It's a get bitter or get better situation.

I feel like the details are fairly easy to understand and you even get a free starter entry to go through it once. I have to blame the user if they don’t take the time to learn the mode details.
Also the cost barrier to the mode is low and you earn it back quick. If they had no barrier i would draft and go straight to final showdown for 20 vouchers every time. This way you have something on the line. I feel it’s reasonable

Your first paragraph of the OP was fine, but the rest came off as incredibly whiny, and it did not seem like you were just “sharing information”. You skipped to the end which made the mission harder, and then you complained about SDS stealing stubs which is absurd. If you stick your hand in a pot of boiling water, do you blame the pot?
A gold isn’t good enough for the challenge? Then don’t do it. The game has been out for less than a week. Did you want SDS to hand out 99’s the first week for an offline mode?
It’s also kind of ironic how you claim you are not going to argue with millennials all day when your initial post was one of the most stereotypically millennial posts I’ve seen on this forum. Here, let me prep a nice shiny participation trophy for throwing down your 500 stubs since a gold card wasn’t good enough.
I guess since we’re classifying people based on a couple of forum posts, you’re an 80 year old Abe Simpson type yelling at a cloud.

I like the mode actually. It’s different and new. Not too hard if you play through it properly. Doesn’t take that long either.
-
It’s a low-cost interesting mode. It gives players that don’t like online play a BR-style activity to do. You can also earn 70 stars towards inning progress, which is huge.
-
I Completed 11/12 challenges before the showdown and faced German Marquez at Coors Field.

People who did not play the starter showdown first and actually read the tutorials that pop up?
If you don't skip steps you will earn back your stubs after beating the first boss fight.
And this is coming from a old (non-millennial) player who is not a fan of the entry fee.
