Pick-Off Sliders

Prior to entering DD, I adjusted the sliders to eliminate the pickoffs against the CPU, yet I still get picked off! Am I doing it wrong or is it impossible to eliminate the CPU pickoff in DD play?

I don’t think custom sliders apply to DD. I’m not 100% on this, but I’d be shocked if they did.

Sliders don't work in DD. You can check this out by setting the sliders, going into DD, backing out at the last possible moment of a cpu game (just before you're committed to playing the game), exiting DD, and checking your sliders. You'll find they have been reset to default.

Thanks, makes sense. I swear the CPU has broken the MLB record for pickoffs in a season.

Can they ever fix the CPU pickoffs? The instant I take a step the CPU tries to pick my baserunner. This will continue for multiple times in a row. Turning down the sliders has never helped me in the other game modes either. There's nothing I can do to get back etc. Essentially can't take a lead ever? Or just wait until the CPU eventually picks off the runner. Been like this since I started playing The Show.

My issue is the psychic pitch outs. Unless I run on 2-0, it seems like the pitcher always knows I'm stealing and pitches out. Then even on the occasion after they pay me no mind, I'll still get thrown out with the fastest runner and a secondary lead.
