How even? That’s an incredible record. In TS19.
Felt like my opponent was going easy on me because I only threw 91 pitches to his 133.
Still hate ranked seasons... but gotta get that shiny platinum
Edit: BTW he’s now 1608-15.

Once you reach over 1000 wins or losses, it cuts off part of the record. I'd venture to say he is 1608 and 1500 something.
If he was 1608-15 or even 1608 and 150, he would be #1 on the ranked seasons leaderboard

Ah ok well that makes sense. That would explain why their rank was 490 or something and I lost 50 points.
I will say this though, that record helped me cope with my terrible performance. That and the behaviour of my opponent was quality. It’s nice when you get to play against somebody who treats the game and their opponent with respect.
Although the bit when I correctly predicted and pitched out on his only steal attempt and he turned around and made it back to 1st because my 2nd baseman (Pedroia) decided that it wasn’t an urgent throw to 1st really made me curse. Not his fault, that was all game

I just discovered I played the same person in TS19 ranked seasons two weeks ago. I didn’t think that was possible?
I lost that game too

What’s even better is the throw that is caught by the fielder and the fielder is waiting to tag the runner who is already retreating to the previous base

Are you saying he’s not a nice person? He didn’t do anything dodgy in my game. I’d play him again for sure - positive experience. Did a little bit of pausing every now and then but I assumed he was checking pitch histories and what not which I don’t mind at all. It was never an unreasonable amount of time.
Or are you talking about the 2nd baseman I had (Pedroia)?

No the player you were playing is trash. I’ve played the dude several time and I was emphasizing how bad he was. He has 1600 wins versus 15k losses. Had nothing to do with his personality. The guy could be mother Theresa but that doesn’t make him a good player that’s all I was saying.

You can match up with the same person in RS once every 24 hours. It's happened to me a few times. You won't hit them twice in the same 24, but you could hit them back to back days easily.

Different guy. This one was 1400-odd losses, not 14000. He was a pretty good player (average I suppose but definitely better than me: 2-0 over me) so I’m confident he’s not your guy. Could be a golfer based on his name.

Ah ok thanks. Sounds like I need to find me a World Series ranked player that is willing to sacrifice a few games so I can get that darn platinum. Then I can never go near ranked seasons again!

Edit: I think I’m on something like 550 now... last game net me 70 points.
