I just played an event game wherein there were 14 walks combined in 6 innings. I’d say pitching is a problem. Lol.

I mean quick counts contributes for sure but... I walked 9 guys in six innings and I wasn’t even nibbling.

I just walked 3-4 guys with Maddux: perfect inputs, down the middle, a foot off the plate lol.

I can't seem to find the strike zone at all in this event. If you try to paint a corner or throw it just off the plate, it floats into their sweet spot. But that is why I love events, the L's don't really count against you.

I have been looking at the analysis post-game. I am noticing a LOT of magnet pitches clustered near the middle of the zone.
I’m sure part of this is because I’m trying to prestige Felix and his control is not stellar, but when my input is good, I still can miss my spot, and when my input is less than good, I miss my spot by a ton!

If you played ‘20 before ‘19, you would swear ‘19 is a new game, I’ve been playing ‘19 all summer, just feels like a better game than ‘20. Yea hitting was frustrating but feels nowhere near the ‘slot machine’ of ‘20.

Pitching feels better in ‘19 and so does fielding, not watching my player take 15 minutes to transfer the ball from his glove to his hand and plant his foot to throw is refreshing. By no means is ‘19 perfect but it plays way better than ‘20 IMo

I cant remember pitching in ‘17 but I am definitely seeing a big difference in ‘19 from ‘20, off speed is actually viable online, and yes ppl are still playing online in ‘19.

Do you have to wait a long time to find a game?
My first few games i did because i hadnt played in months so my RS score was really low but lnce it expanded to about 500-650 i found a game it then became a bit easier, obviously its bot the same type of pop. ‘20 has but theres still ppl playing here and there. In the end i’ve just been using it to scratch my baseball itch. Far more enjoyable experience than ‘20 for me, which is weird because in the little bit of RS I did play in ‘20 i was actually more successful than ‘19, ‘20 just wasn’t enjoyable even when I won. Nothing rewarding about just sitting there PCI dead centre waiting for the game to force my opponents pitch to hang.
Yea ‘19 can be frustrating but at least you could find ways to work around it, lining out too much?, time to bring in gwynn and ichiro and slap the ball to opposite field and steal some bases to generate runs. Also you have no idea how good it feels to be able to hit your spots on good pitch releases and have the black called. Im not forced to have the same 5 starters with outlier 1-2 and a sinker because off speed pitches just hang.

Well I’ve reinstalled 19. We’ll see if I can pitch any better, assuming I can find a game.

I agree with this as I went back to '19 to try the Extreme Moments again. I had a Dang good team! 99 Wagner, Ichiro, etc
