Yeah its just something you never want to see I have never met any of them but the fact that there is more media now you have come to expect to see them at the different HOF ceremonies. Heck Bob Feller pitched in the legends game the year he died.
After Tommy Lasorda died Willie Mays became the oldest living player. There was a article that was published after Stan Musial died and it had listed the last surviving members every world series winning team and it was really sad to see that it was basically the early 50's that had more than one that was still living.

Yet another sad day. Aaron was a class act on and off the field, you don't even have to be a baseball fan to know who he was. Just a huge loss for the baseball world. RIP Hammerin Hank.

Rest easy Hank. One of the best to play the game, the best in my eyes. But as good of a ballplayer as he was, he was an even better person. Your legacy will live on.
This one really hurts.

RIP Hammerin' Hank! Braves country lost one of the greats! Gone but never forgotten!

I'll always remember today hearing this news. Very sad, I almost broke down and cried. What a great man beyond baseball.

Me too. I just went on lunch break and had the locker room to myself but didn't let loose.
Sadly we're going to see more pass on because of age. It totally sucks but is inevitable.
I saw Billy Williams interviewed on MLB Network and he looked pretty frail. -
