Backstory- my opponent was playing the cheese right from the first pitch. Throwing high and inside sinkers and fastballs. I have Al Leiter on the mound so he switches out every batter that are lefties to righties for the advantage.

My turn to bat....I start a 2 out rally and get 2 men on base. My 8 hole hitter is up to bat so he decides to walk him to load the bases. Al Leiter (pitcher) up to bat. I work the count to 3-2. Next pitch is a fastball down the middle and low....I lined up my PCI then sent the ball to orbit with a no doubt grand slam by my pitcher. Needless to say I replayed that with a smile on my face.

Throwing high sinkers and fastballs is cheese? I’ve seen it all...

Ok stop the negative comment act. Yes in a way it is cheese. Sinkers are supposed to flatten out the higher they are thrown but they don’t in this game so yes in a way it’s cheese.

No, he is just throwing a pitch that is hard to hit. Then again, that is just my opinion.

EDIT: Either way, that HR had to feel nice. 🙂

Yeah it was pretty great lol regardless of the game that is something I’ll probably never do again.

Yeah, I disagree on high and inside sinkers and fastballs being cheese. To me cheese is hitters getting rewarded with bleeders and blooper hits on an excessive level from poor timing/contact.

I homered with Al Leiter last week in a Conquest game! He's got a great swing, so no surprise

But if I remember correctly and I was young didn’t Leiter stink with the bat? He does have a good bat in the show

Bringing in right handed batters to face a lefty on the mound is now cheese?
