Sharing an Idea

So I was getting bored lately with the event being [censored], having every player I want, and not being good enough for WS or BR rewards. So I came up with my own way to have fun over the holidays:
- I created the max 4 squads allowed
- I put the best player available (primary or secondary) at each position
- No player can be on more than one squad
- I took the next best available players for my benches, as ranked by the computer
- I adjusted slightly only to ensure a balance of right/left/switch
- Pitchers I did the same way
I’m going to play 5 RS season games with each team. The players who perform the best form an “All Star” squad that I’ll run with for 5 games.
At that point, I’ll have a team of favorites and the East Event should be dropping.
Figured I’d share in the event people were looking for something different to do.

Good Idea. I'm trying a mortal squad alternate account. Only rule is I can't use any of the most commonly used 'God Squad' position cards or 7 most commonly used sp cards. I've banned Griffey, Trout, Cobb, Walker, Mantle, Soto, Ruth, Honus, Tatis, Machado, Chipper, Seager, Biggio, Salvador, Foxx, Mondesi, Bellinger and Hornsby for position players. And for my rotation, Seaver, Orel, Kluber, DeGrom, Darvish, Bauer, and Paxton are banned. I have no stubs on this account so it'll be a while before the team is ready. The plan is
C- Kendall
1b- Helton
2b- Morgan and Merrifield
3b- Cronenworth
Ss- Bichette
Lf- Eloy
CF- I dont know. Maybe Arozorena?
RF- Betts (He probably should be banned from this squad, but I haven't used him much on my main squad and I'll allow myself one stud lol)Need to find someone to platoon with Cronenworth at 3b and a rhb who can play 1st.
Pitching I will go with Lamet, Buehler, Ryan, and whoever else I can obtain cheaply.
Anyone have any suggestions for the squad? I'm looking for lesser used cards with high vision and contact ratings that are cheapish or easily acquired
