Hitting
- Babe Ruth - He's the same beast he's always been, .400+ OBP and hits for power. positional flexibility keeps him in the lineup.
- Finest Cody Bellinger - Maybe a tad aggressive as he's seen just over 100 PA, but he has the highest slugging % on the team
- Mike Trout - If you swing early and are on it, it's sailing out of here.
- Vidal Brujan - Absolutely carried my entire team in the middle of the year, including 73 stolen bases in 77 attempts
- PS Corey Seager. Only hitting .244 for me.... which makes his .622 slugging that much more impressive, plus the .381 OBP means he is still getting on base for me.
- Stan Musial - No bias here the dude rakes, and if Babe wasn't such a stud, would be manning 1B on my team.
- Brian Roberts - Flashback to the beginning of MLB 20, first card I prestiged, had a 1.010 OPS, and that's with 66 and 57 power.
- Ty Cobb - He always gets on base, just has one of those swings
- Mickey Mantle, has been in and out of my lineup, has hot and cold streaks, consistently gets on-base, but I don't hit with the power that the stats show he is capable of.
- I can't leave off Cargo either, that swing is delicious
Pitchers.
- 99 Billy Wagner, the stats speak for itself. 150.1 innings, 245 strikeouts, 2.27 ERA, 0.82 WHIP, 33-7 with 21 saves and 26 holds
- Chris Sale, far and away my best starting pitcher, that slider wipes hitters out. 133 innings, 153 strikeouts, 2.17 ERA, 0.78 WHIP
- PS Walker Buehler, the sinker might be the meta, but his cutter more then makes up for the lack of that pitch.
- Prestige Clayton Kershaw - That extra MPH on the fastball makes all the difference
- 97 Aroldis Chapman, not quite on Billy's level, but 167.1 innings, 241 strikeouts, 2.47 ERA, 0.79 WHIP, devastating slider.
- 99 Bob Feller - If you are playing someone who can check swing on every off-speed, you won't have a fun time, but 95% of the time, he's going to absolutely blow by the competition.
7 Tom Seaver - Not as good as 19's version imo, but it does the job and the fastballs seems a lot faster than what he throws.
8. Bob Gibson - This is a card that plays way better then any previous version, has pitched a perfect game for me in ranked, surprisingly deceptive.
9. POTM Paxton. Sinker and cutter, enough said.
10. Kluber is very hittable now, but he deserves a spot in the top 10 for holding down the fort for months on end.Just saw you come up on that reddit walkoff clip, that man seriously picked Minute Maid for that game? Smh sry u had to go through that
Yeah, the Babe walkoff was actually cool, but I was and am still salty about having to play at that horrid stadium.
Didn't realize that was you, brother. Awesome clip though... and I'd also be a bit salty. Especially with that DJ air horn. That might have been the worse part.
And screw MLB stadiums online! Yeah, I'm salty I don't have a PS5 to play them without lag...
