Getting destroyed since using PS5

Just tried an event game and did much better again. The most noticeable is in now getting early swings on upper 90’s FBs. Earlier it was consistent too late swings and seemed I couldn’t swing fast enough now it feels more like normal. Big thanks to Mrgamebred for mentioning the performance mode option. That seems to be the trick.
I know it’s only a three game sample now but I don’t think it’s a coincidence the second I tried my PS4 and then this setting on the 5 the game went back to feeling normal for me.
isnt it sad we have to change all this to enjoy a video game. I miss the old plug and play days

That's true. It was so much easier when TVs didnt have refresh rates, and you didnt have to worry about response times. You just flipped the splitter to CH4 and played.

Reading this thread gives me hope for 2021. Maybe the ps4 will have the advantage over different systems and consoles lol

Throwing the PS5 setting in performance seem to solve the issue. I was on the phone with a hardcore call of duty buddy who has the 5 as well. I mentioned performance mode and he experienced it too with COD. Said his first couple games he felt very off then was told to switch his settings and that put him back on track.
