Here are a few suggestions for SDS going forward.

Starting on the positive, the content is outstanding and for the most part the regular game engine (vs CPU) works well. The main fix should be to baserunning - often the baserunning logic is illogical (e.g. runners freezing on hit balls where there are two outs).

I would like the game options made more concise.

    1. Scrap Moments.

    2. Showdown is a great concept but poorly executed - mainly due to being based in the Moments game engine rather than the regular engine that we play against in Conquest.

Make Showdown a solo effort similar to online BR. Draft a team and play a 3 inning game vs various opponents using the same game engine as Conquest. The opponents can increase in quality allowing for drafts after wins. Play until finished or 2 losses.

Other player teams (streamers and MLB players) can be included in the rotation that the user must beat.

    1. Have more programs like the one used to obtain Ruth.

    2. Do more with Extra Innings. For example, incorporate Extra Innings games into obtaining and improving cards. The user can pick his or her difficulty vs the CPU and advancement is tied to the difficulty chosen (e.g. Veteran vs Legend). Player prestige stats can be obtained when playing on Legend for offline games.

    3. Give a quick count option in games vs CPU.

    4. Include the ability to conquer multiple blocks at one time in Conquest vs taking each one individually.

All these are very good points, but especially the baserunning. I have an issue where my baserunners will turn the corner on whatever base (usually first) when they shouldn't and they get tagged out by a mile to end the inning.

    So mine are:

    1. Fix fix FIX the baserunning AI.
    2. If moments can't be gotten rid of, make them less stress-inducing.
    3. In moments, please make HBPs, errors, and walks count as bases. I'm tired of being robbed like that.
    4. MAKE MIGUEL CABRERA HAVE TRIPLE CROWN STATS.
    5. Building on the previous one, make Alan Trammell and other legendary players have better stats.
    6. More submarine pitchers! I want Chad Bradford.
    7. TIGER STADIUM. PLEASE.
    8. Give nine-inning vs. CPU games more presentation options. Make me feel like I'm watching a game on TV as I play.
    9. Help me see the ball better on sunny days. I'm forced to play on overcast because I have trouble hitting otherwise.
    10. Make cards more accessible for offline players. I'm talking cards like this year's Johnny Bench or Justin Verlander.
    11. Better Signature cards. That series was garbage this year.
    12. A good Johnny Damon card, like last year's. Sweetest rear-end in the league.
    13. A "One Year Wonder" collection. With players like Mark Fidrych.
    14. A practice mode that allows us to practice against a CPU team with our own DD team. This would be awesome.

I might add more when I think of some more.

I know this may sound odd to a lot of people, but I would love to see an old school NBA Street Type mode vs the CPU. It would be the one where you get a player off their roster everytime you beat them. It would bring in strategy in how to improve your team. Plus it would be another fun mode for players who generally don't play online. I know there is an extremely small chance of happening, but it would be fun.

That's how MLB the BIGS was on the Wii. It was a cool concept

I don't remember it being like that on BIGS, but it would be amazing on the Show.

Ahh, the Wii, that takes me back a long ways. I recently watched gameplay of Wii Sports Baseball and I'm astounded by how ancient it looks now.

    1. Make it easier to sell duplicates. Has to be an easier way than going through every team / category.
    2. Remove 1m stub cap on buying cards. Too easy to make stubs, if someone wants to pay 5m for Chipper let them. Bunch of cards you can't really get now but if you could pay more than 1m people would be more likely to sell.
    3. It's good you can choose a day game or night game but there is no need for any situations where you can't see the ball at certain stadiums at certain times.
    4. Anytime someone quits online mid play it should be an automatic home run or a strikeout for the other person
    5. You should get more information before going into a ranked game. I'm usually in the 600s somewhere and I don't want to waste my time playing someone at shippet on all star who is 800+. Take the loss points of me before game starts if I back out at that stage. Going to lose anyway so rather just get it done with and find a fun game.
    6. Fix base running

As you suggest in #2, removing the stub cap is a good choice. I expect would boost stub sales for SDS as well as people buy extra stubs to purchase premium cards.
