Need to talk about locked collected cards
-
I’m ok with no quickselling. It was a cheap way to get collections done for free(MLB 19 Finest for example. After quickselling you got Yates, Realmuto and Cole for absolutely nothing) I agree that they should be able to be exchanged though as there should be some use for locked cards besides sitting there
-
I'm surprised that they actually ever allowed players to do that. Seemed like a loophole to me. Doesn't surprise me that they stopped allowing you to get double benefits from a single card.

Same here. I'm definitely not put off by this change at all.

Pretty sad that people are actually okay with/support this.
-
Are they allowing exchanges of duplicates of cards that are locked in?

As long as the duplicates aren't locked in, yes.

Saying that you understand why they did it is not the same as saying that you support it.
I also understand why players are upset about it. -

The quick sell thing sucks but it’s whatever, the no exchange thing is really dumb and h was told by a partner that people exchanging locked in cards was abusing the system, it’s only abusing the system if the system is you have to buy more cards
-
No quick selling locked cards is reasonable. Preventing users from exchanging locked cards is ridiculous.
-
No exchanging has been one of the biggest short sighted slap in the faces to the fan base over the last couple years
-
This is from a friend of mine
“ I did the Red Sox collection, that gets you a pack of four Red Sox players. They’re unsellable, unexchangeable, unquicksellable. So now I have four duplicates of Red Sox cards I can do nothing with”

This is exactly why I'm not ok with it. This adds hundreds of thousands of stubs to getting everything I got last year

Right but their reasoning behind it is perfectly fine. Buying a diamond card for 5k, locking it in, and quickselling it back for 5k is the exact definition of exploiting the system. A compromise would be to have a market minimum of 5k for diamond cards and 1k for gold cards, and have the quicksell price be half of that or something. I know it sucks but the reasoning behind why they did it is perfectly reasonable. I cant get on board with not being able to exchange the cards or quicksell no sell duplicates though. Exchanging the cards should be possible as you paid the stubs for that card to begin with, and getting use out of it instead of it rotting in your collection, and obviously having 2 locked cards wouldn’t be of anyone’s choice.
-
I’m also fine with not being able to QS locked cards, but with many exchanges, it’s ridiculous not to be able to use them for this. I noticed this when I started doing some of the cheaper collections and realized I had multiple duplicates And some triplicates of silver cards I could do nothing with.

THIS is my problem, I'm doing the Cards collection, I got like 2-3 Edmans now, I can understand having to keep 1 but the others should at LEAST be exchangeable

This has to be a bug. Collecting one Edman should not lock all of them. You should click on Report a Bug in the menu above and report it.

Yeah I will, i sent another bug rep on my dailies innings not tallying
