PvP Showdown Concept

I have an idea and maybe you guys can help me out with it as a community. Just for fun. Try not to roll your eyes

It's not so much the showdown structure that makes it a showdown but an actual on going showdown.

The showdown would work like events. This week RH NL East...and it could rotate.
RH NL east pitchers vs RH NL East Hitters.
You load up your lineup. Except at lineup screen you pick one batter and one pitcher...could be starter or relief pitcher for a three inning game.

Degrom vs Acuna
Strasburg vs Ozuna

Playing like a normal game except pitchers have regular stamina and every batter is your hitter...he gets a single...his attributes are still on 1b...and he is hitting again. (Insert eye roll) hear me out..its part of strategy...sluggish power hitter...u suffer on base paths all game with no speed. Etc...

Same for pitcher...do you go starter or reliever? Keeping stamina in mind. Or we could switch it to starters half stamina...relievers full stamina?

As for defense your regular DD lineup would be out there for you to control like regular event game...like I said u could rotate...AL West Rh batters vs Nl west LH pitchers...endless combinations. Even rh Al west relief pitchers vs Left hand Nl east catchers.

It's all about that showdown of having to face your opponent using Trout or whoever 9 times....the nightmare...but that's what makes it the showdown. Just a fantasy.... feel free to add or change to help shape...as for rewards...I dont know how that would go or if it would be like elimination format like events...feel free
