Down 9-15 in the 11th inning showdown with Maddux mini boss on deck. Should I bypass him and skip to the final and take my chances with the final boss?

I love using him but gotta give him a short leash against goons and not use him at all in all star. He's a pitch to weak contact SP and in all star mfers will foul off and flail at stuff on the corners for 10 pitch at bats until you hang a dead cutter over the middle. Just spare yourself or get out of all star if you're there.

How good is Maddux when he's CPU controlled in Showdown?

Depends on how good you are at moving your pci.

He's not gonna blow you away by any means. If you can square up the corners or wait for a meat ball you'll be fine. If you are one of those hitters who cheats to a certain spot you'll likely have issues. He mixes location and paints corners pretty well, as to be expected. if you can adjust you can light him up.

I pitched him today at Shippett on AS, got hit for 3 runs in the 1st. That same inning I got some runs and as soon as he came to the plate I pinched hit Babe for him. If I let him there one more inning I would’ve been down again in the 2nd
