So these guys' normal cards have an extreme shift on them, which is very annoying in my opinion. I've prestiged both in the event and I'm casually playing the Thanksgiving conquest map, and I noticed that both Griffey and Tatis prestiged versions no longer have an extreme shift on them but now the 3B plays cover drag. I guess that is because of the +3 in speed they received.

Now my question is, does anyone know if this carries over in online play when someone is using the auto shift? So I know both Griffey and Tatis used to have a shift loaded up on the pull side, does the auto shift only put the 3B in drag cover when these prestige cards are up to bat? Because that alone would be a massive reason to prestige them.

WOW.. incredible observation. I’m gonna pay much more attention to this. Although... I often benefit from the shift inadvertently by being late on everything lol

Yes I've observed this with Prestiged Tatis while having setting on auto shift (I manually adjust throughout the game.) I've since adjusted my defense against Prestiged Tatis months ago. This pertains to RS & w/ other cards I've noticed the same 3B cover drag configuration as you've mentioned.

That's huge, I had no idea. I hate the auto shift with an emphasis.

More reasons for me to prestige both Tatis and Griffey as soon as possible.

Ichiro and Baez hitting late against the auto shift for the guaranteed double! In 19 at least 🙂

I have noticed something interesting while playing the game today : MVP Trout despite being an extreme pull hitter does not have an auto shift. His 90-93 speed might be the cause.
