Verlander is basically Bob Gibson with a bit less velocity....I prefer Arrieta but neither are elite options

So what's you're saying is that there are at least 5 other pitchers that would start over them?
Trying to decide if it's worth the hassel to play for them. Don't need the stubs. Dont need the packs. Do t need the frustration that goes with playing online.

Absolutely, there are probably 15 pitchers I would start over both of them......but that is online, offline either can probably be great and it comes down to who you like..

Just watched mgunskis‘s debut and himself and his opponent used arrieta. It was a slug fest and Jake was getting rocked

I personally like Arrieta. There aren't many pitchers who are very effective in this game anyway, so might as well stick with one who at least has some very nasty movement (his sinker breaks a ton and comes in hard). Is he gonna get rocked against good players? Sure. But so does every other pitcher.

Y’all should take those guys reviews with a grain of salt. I mean if you live in their territory I get it but you have to remember down where I live their reviews mean nothing because I don’t play that level of competition so if you have stubs try him out and sell him back if you don’t like

I was pleasantly surprised by Arietta in his ranked debut. Lots of movement on the sinker and the slider and change are both high-velo and gave my opponent a lot of trouble
